Every table game has at least one bet with a low house edge — and usually one “exciting” bet that is expensive. The figures below are industry-standard values for the usual rules.

Notice the pattern: bets offering big payouts almost always carry a far higher house edge. An 8:1 payout on the Tie feels generous, yet it costs roughly thirteen times more than a Banker bet.
A quick guide to each game
Baccarat

Dragon Tiger
Only two cards are turned — one in the Dragon box, one in the Tiger box — and the higher value takes it. On a tie, Dragon and Tiger bets lose half — that is where the house edge comes from.
Sic Bo
Three dice are shaken in a cup. Big (totals 11–17) and Small (4–10) pay 1:1 but lose when a triple lands. Number and combination bets pay more with a larger house edge.
Roulette
European roulette has a single zero, so every bet carries the same house edge. Picking red/black or a single number only changes the swings, not the average cost.
Blackjack
The only game here where your decisions change the house edge. With basic strategy — for example, always splitting a pair of aces and a pair of eights — the house edge drops to around half a percent.
Game shows: entertainment with big swings
Games such as Evolution’s Crazy Time and Lightning Roulette combine a wheel or roulette with random multipliers. In Lightning Roulette the normal straight-up payout drops to 29:1, but “lightning” numbers can pay 50x to 500x. The result is a still-competitive RTP with far higher volatility. Think of it as a high-volatility slot in table form.
Choosing a table for your budget
